Formerly the VSG community team, the PUBG team Cerberus, with players Ace, BAsill, Reddot69, IQ500, and BadGuy under the guidance of coach Siro, became a dark horse at the PVS Summer 2019 by securing 4th place and earning a spot in the SEA Championship. There, Cerberus PUBG was satisfied with a top 8 finish, a commendable achievement for a rookie team making its first appearance on the Southeast Asian stage.

By player, For player
The contract with one of the best in-game leaders in PUBG, Ssubang, demonstrates the team's championship aspirations. Additionally, the decision to sign the 15-year-old prodigy Taikonn, considered a PUBG genius, reflects the organization's commitment to long-term and sustainable investment.

Galacticos 1.0
After achieving the runner-up position at the PVS Winter 2019 but slipping to 12th place at the SEA Championship, coach Siro bolstered the team's 'firepower' by adding the newly turned 18-year-old talent Haisaki and Kross as an analyst.

Success and Failure
The year 2020 marked a brilliant success for the team in domestic competitions, with three consecutive championships, one runner-up position, and HAIsaki making history by being named MVP four times in a row. Conversely, Cerberus PUBG struggled on the international stage, consistently performing below the expectations of fans, leading to criticism of their perceived 'Home Court Advantage' mentality.

Galacticos 2.0
Recognizing the ripe moment for a generational transition, Ssubang became an analyst and entrusted the in-game leader position to Haisaki. With the addition of two significant new players, Himass and Fap, Cerberus PUBG returned to their previous form, securing the runner-up position in the Summer season and 9th place at PCS 5. Fap left immediately after the season, and coach Kross brought in YmCuD as his replacement.

BIRTH OF SUPERSTARS
The year 2022 marked a moment of sweet success for the Cerberus as they reached peak performance both domestically and internationally. Winning the PVS Spring Championship and securing 4th place at PCS 6 were just the beginning of their spectacular display. As Taikonn reached the eligible age, he made an impressive debut at his first international tournament, earning the MVP title and, along with the team, securing a spot in PGC 2022 as the runner-up of PCS 7.

United We Stand
At PGC 2022, Cerberus Esports, under the leadership of coach Ssubang, secured 6th place in the world, surpassing prominent names like Gen.G and Faze Clan. This achievement set a record not only for PUBG Vietnam but also for the entire APAC region.

Beyond The Barrier
Cerberus Esports demonstrated determination by continuing their success with the championship title in PVS Spring 2023, 6th place at PGS 1, and securing a spot at PGS 2 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. They are resolutely positioning themselves as contenders for the world championship title.

To The Glory
With the courage and skill demonstrated throughout the year, Cerberus Esports once again earned a spot at PUBG's most prestigious event held in Thailand. Through intense competition against formidable teams from around the world, Cerberus Esports delivered compelling performances, reaffirming their prowess on the global PUBG stage. Finishing 7th in the tournament is considered a well-deserved result, closing out a highly successful year for Cerberus Esports in 2023.

King of APAC
Despite facing challenges at the beginning of the tournament, Cerberus Esports showed their resilience and courageous fighting spirit. The team rallied strongly and clinched their first-ever APAC championship in the team's history. MVP honors rightfully went to Himass, who consistently led in all statistical categories throughout the tournament.

We Are Champion
Cerberus Esports secured their first international championship trophy, marking a poignant moment for PUBG Vietnam after a five-year wait. Once again, Himass was named MVP as Cerberus Esports became the first APAC team to win a major global tournament in PUBG, offering spectators a new perspective on Vietnamese teams and the APAC region as a whole.

Our Boy Departs
After the glorious victory at PUBG Global Series 3, Cerberus Esports shocked the PUBG community by officially parting ways with Taikonn - a star nurtured and developed by the team since its early days. His departure was not only a shock to fans but also a significant tactical loss, as CES was riding a wave of consistent strong performance. To fill the gap, Cerberus immediately announced the return of YmCud - the veteran elder who has been closely linked with the team for many years. This move is expected to stabilize the team’s morale and bring valuable experience ahead of upcoming tournaments.

The Return Of The King
After two weeks of intense competition at PUBG Vietnam Series 2024 Phase 2, Cerberus Esports has officially claimed the championship, marking their sixth domestic title in the team's history. Despite a rocky start in the early days of the tournament, the champions of PGS 3 showcased their resilience and outstanding performance in the crucial matches, allowing Cerberus Esports to make a strong comeback.

Hairline Crack
Building on an impressive run with a top 4 finish at the PGS 2024 APAC Phase 2 qualifiers, along with top 4 and top 5 placements at PGS 5 and 6 respectively, Cerberus Esports steadily solidified its position on the international stage. Fans and experts alike began to see CES as a promising representative capable of bringing fresh momentum to the APAC region at PGC 2024. However, with rising expectations came mounting pressure. A shaky start combined with a lack of confidence in their gameplay forced Cerberus to pay a heavy price - missing the chance to compete in Circuit 2. The low point came in a bitter final day performance, scoring only 7 points and effectively closing the door on their hopes of reaching the PGC 2024 Grand Finals - an outcome nobody wanted to see.

Core Exit
While Cerberus Esports was still struggling to recover from a disappointing PGC 2024, fans were dealt another heavy blow - Himass, the team’s star player and most reliable frontline firepower, officially parted ways with the squad. His departure leaves a significant void, signaling a period of instability ahead for Cerberus.

Starting Over
Following Himass’s departure, Cerberus Esports quickly took strategic steps to rebuild the roster. The team brought in the promising young talent LamBaouwu, along with the seasoned veteran Zest, aiming to maintain the core framework led by HaiSaki. Although no longer displaying the aggressive swagger of the past, Cerberus has demonstrated clear stability and progress by securing a top 4 finish at PVS 2025 Phase 1. CES now presents fans and the tournament with a fresh new look - full of youthful energy and mature, refined gameplay.

Legend Leaves
After the heartbreaking miss at PGS 7-8, Cerberus Esports unexpectedly witnessed the departure of a core member - the legendary captain and the most outstanding player in the team’s history, HaiSaki. This marks the greatest loss Cerberus has ever faced. More than just an exemplary captain, HaiSaki was a pivotal figure who helped shape the team’s foundation and identity as it stands today. It can be said that HaiSaki has been the face and soul of CES for many years. His departure leaves a profound sense of regret not only within the team’s management but also among the vast fanbase- closing an important chapter in Cerberus’s history.

New Foundations
Amid the gradual departure of key players, including the promising young talent LamBaouwu, Cerberus Esports has embarked on a roster rebuild aimed at maintaining stability and competitiveness. The addition of SimonT is viewed as a crucial strategic move, bringing fresh energy and reinforced strength to the team for the remainder of 2025.
